|The Coordinator of Student Activities is a full-time, 11-
month position in the Office of Student Affairs.
Reporting to the Assistant Dean of Students, the
Coordinator of Student Activities position will have a
strong focus on Student Activities operations, campus
programming, and student staff and club supervision and
advising. The Coordinator will assist in the development
and delivery of new student orientation and campus
Specific functions include, but are not limited to:
•Co-Advise the Campus Activities Board and other
clubs/organizations as assigned.
•Coordinating thematic and welcome week programming for
the Office of Student Life; assisting the Assistant Dean
of Students in creating a vibrant evening and weekend
activities calendar including: on and off-campus
initiatives; special events and theme weeks.
•Providing supervision for the student work study and
assistance and advising for club leadership.
•Maintaining the Student Activities events calendar (both
online and in print), promoting events, and managing
social media outlets.
•Assisting the Assistant Dean of Students in the delivery
of leadership initiatives.
•Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and one to three years
of student activities experience in the college/university
setting required; preferred candidates will have a
master's degree in a related field, and direct experience
in college activities programming, organization advising,
leadership program planning and development, orientation
program planning and development, design (print/web)
experience, and working with diverse student populations.
This position operates outside of standard work days and
hours with a Tuesday - Saturday week anticipated. Nights
and weekends are expected.
